Hi all,
My wife and I just purchased our first Subaru last weekend, a '15 Forester XT. Still reading the manual and learning all the new features.
My wife just totaled our previous car, a FIAT 500L (the 4door, not the clown car) so after doing a bit of research on the interwebs, we put the Forester on the list of cars to check out.
The only real requirement we had was that our two Great Danes had to fit in the cargo area. We really wanted an Outback but when we went to the dealer, the dogs didn't quite fit in the Outback but did fit with room to spare in the Forester, so the Forester it was.
Got to drive it for the first time today and it surprised me as to how comfortable and powerful it was. My last Subie experience was in the late 80's and lets just say the car then was a bit......utilitarian.
Looking forward to reviewing all the information on this forum and learning a bit more about my car.
Cheers!
