Hello everyone. My wife and I have an 06 Forester. I already put larger tires on it. I would like to lift it a little. I've done some research...anything above 2" (or a little more depending on the car) is about the max it can go without doing other things. I'm trying to decide between the king springs and Subtle's 1" spacers. Along with this I'll be adding a WRX rear swaybar to help with body roll. Here's the question. I realize that by using the spacers all I would be getting is the added 1" of clearance. I know almost nothing about King springs. From the limited info I have found, they will help with body roll without stiffening the ride too much, and I can get different heights (I'd go for the 1.5") Other than that, and besides having new springs, what benefit would it be to get the springs vs just spacers?

Just a few thoughts on the RSB... a WRX rear sway bar will not fit your '06, you'll need an STi bar for the correct width. Also, be aware that a thicker bar will exert more stress on the endlinks, lateral link tabs, and mounts - especially with a lifted setup.
