my vehicle has Kenwood factory fitted Satnav unit. Was working fine for last 18 months but now when I switch on I get a black screen asking me to insert map DVD. The unit then does not complete the setup. So most of the buttons do not operate. The map DVD is in the unit but it does not seem to recognise it and it will not eject the disc. Has anyone had a similar problem? Or can anyone assist. Thanks

This factory Kenwood unit in my opinion is the spawn of Satan!! I could sit here all day and tell you the issues and dramas over the 5 years i had the darn thing in my SH... But to prevent a major onset of PTSD and to make your reading much more enjoyable, I highly recommend that you go to your local Auto Sound System Installers and get a nice cheap unit that will do exactly what you want and more!! Trust me when i say you're fighting an uphill battle with that Kenwood!! hahahah Sorry it doesn't help... and good luck.
