Hi, I'm a new member from Darwin - Australia,

Just mounted these driving lights on my 2016 Forester XT, but the wiring kit has a patch harness to the headlights to pick up the high beam +12v for the relay coil. The two different patch lead plugs do not fit the light connector and I think the lights may be switched in the negative.

Anyone out there help on hooking them up? A diagram would be great.

Update

I believe I have the SRH, LED, projector headlights with a Yellow, Green with White stripe and Black wires to the headlight. Anyone know the colour code?

There is also an unused connector in the middle just behind the grill marked "L" it has a Blue, Red and Black wire - anyone know what this is for?

Subarus do use negative switching. I'm sure there are threads here to guide you in wiring this up so have a look around. I'll let you know if I find something as well.

SRH LED Headlight connections

Just completed some tests - I was wrong about the wire colours, that connector must have been for something else - the SRH motor perhaps.

The correct connector had 7 wires -

Top row -
Green with Silver spots
Brown
Red with White Stripe
Grey

Bottom row -
Black
N/C
Green with White Stripe
Black with Blue Stripe

It appears that the bottom row are the head lights themselves

Common - Black - 12 Volt-

Low Beam - Black with Blue Stripe - 12 Volt+

High Beam - Black with Blue Stripe - 12 Volt+
- Green with White Stripe - 12 Volt+

Thus my relay coil +ve connection will be through the Driving Light switch to Green with White stripe.
