Well id like to post the video. 8)
For those who are interested in how a 2.25 inch maganflow header back exhaust sounds (no resonator)

1st vid taken with my digi camera:
http://media.putfile.com/100_2650

2nd vid taken with friend's digi camera:
http://media.putfile.com/PICT01639

Both videos basically have the same visual content but they sound very different. Gives you a better idea of how the exhaust sounds

And here are more details about the whole catless deal

Hmm,

It just comes up with a blue Q.

No sound, no video, and no play button.

N/M

I fixed it.

Nice flames

I found you just need to give it a little time to load.

Thanks guys,
Yes i do get more attention, well...more head turning. I have to be careful of where i floor the car. I sometimes see people put their hands to their ears and run or jump away.
Still dont have a CEL :D
The smell doesnt bother me
the power increase is super fun
I love the sound now, it rumbles so much louder. Very similar to subaru turbo rumble
Noticed my MPG increase

and i can choose to spit flames whenever, so if i dont like the car behind me...vrooooom pooooof

Best mod evar!!!11

Then it really sound like a wicked boxer.

Nice job jbleee. So you are now running a straight pipe from the headers back (catless)? I don't know if I could stand my car being that LOUD, but thats just my preference. You should look into a TWE header, might kill a bit of your boxer sound, but the gains are supposed to be quite noticable (especially with the rest of your exhaust freed up).

Thanks
Yup its strait pipe from the headers + a magnaflow strait through muffler. I dont think its loud anymore

Think headers might be down the road, they are just too pricey

Got an appointment with rallitek for this Wed to have them fix my ricer buzz sound

Check E-bay

Two of my Co-workers got headers for their RS' for under $250 shipped.

Ahh, wow great price. Ya still need to do a lot more header research however.

OBX headers supposedly are almost exact replicas of cobb's EL headers. they come with a track pipe (which you already have), so maybe it would be even cheaper without the extra pipe. Just someting to think about...

You guys just keep on wanting me buy stuff

I have read quite a bit about the OBX's on nasioc

Wonder how the gains are on adding some headers onto my current system. Wonder if the gains will be more than going catless?

i think the gains will definetly be noticable, i am running right now borla headers high flow cat, no resonator mid pipe and stromung axle back. the sounds is quite raspy at higher rpm's but throttle response is good and power is nice, i highly recomend the headers either borla or a knock off of some kind, you'll probably get some more of the boxer rumble from them

Borla header, stock cat, everything else is Stromung. And I can shoot flames or so I've been told...
