If I set my climate control on auto to say, 78 f, it does as it should and ramps up the fan as the engine gets warmer, but once the engine is warm the temp of the air never gets to 78 and the fan remains on high, indefinitely. Then if I turn it up to 82-85, the air gets much warmer, but the fan only ever slows down to one notch below high. In order for me to be comfortable when it is cold out i have to just manually put the fan on low at a temp of about 80-81. Very weird! In my buddys 08 outback with auto climate control set to 73 is perfect and cozy and his fan does go to low when the temp is reached.
Anyone else have a 12 or 13 forester with an auto climate control that works well? Thanks!
