Hey there, could you please upload a pic to show how you have fitted the Scangauge ? I am thinking of getting one but not sure where I want to put it!
Thanks!
Thanks!
Sounds interesting would you mind telling me where you purchasedRecently fitted a Scangauge in the ashtray opening, been getting some interesting figures.
7ml down steep hill and country lanes to local market town, cold start but engine hot because of engine heater. 22.0mpg
Return journey engine half warm, country lanes and up steep hill. 17.0mpg
Trip over the moors to Whitby 27.4mpg.
Max.
I'm guessing that's for OBD compliant cars only and won't work on my MY99. :icon_frown:
On early subaru and JDM car you need a SSMI or SSMII software and correct OBD cable connector to read ECU's.Yes.......we have a scangauge at work and it's no darn use on my 99MY.

Thanks in advance.
As major says it might not work on your model. But in answer to your questions it is basically plug and play from just the ODB2 port. You have to input some info such as units, tank and engine size and correct the amount of fuel used for the first couple of fill ups, but thats it.Is this device literally plug & play - power feed from somewhere and a connector into the OBD2 port...or is a config needed..?
How is it calibrated...?
And how does one get it to work in an FSTI....anyone managed it...?
