Awaiting delivery of forester but wanted to know how the glare on the screen of the stereo is. Getting the 6.5 inch one. Can you see it well enough with the sun shade open? I also wear polarized sun glasses and no that could cause screen to look darker. I’ve seen anti glare screen protectors online from different companies for head units but don’t know if actually work.

I've had the 8" screen for a week, 700 miles. No glare issues for me. If the sun is high, I've closed the sunshade.

No glare issues for me, but I rarely leave the sunshade open.

I put them on to just protect the screen from scratches. The anti-glare was a side benefit.

My Dayvue protector does nothing for screen glare but I have it on my Kenwood double din head unit (w/o Nav or touchscreen). Its ok as a screen protector.

I respectively disagree on that.
