Hello,

Does anyone know how to replace head-light's glass without having to replace the whole head-light assembly? Thank you very much.

Sincerely,
/s/ Al

If you have a 98-00, you could find a lens that is in better shape than yours and throw the headlight into the over at a low temp just long enough to soften the sealant then pry the old lens off. To put it back together, just do the opposite, maybe applying some extra sealant to ensure no moisture leaking inside.

I have MY09. Sorry should have mentioned that earlier.

To remove the lens/glass the headlight need to be removed from the car stripped down as much as possible and baked in a low temp oven for a few minutes(220 degrees F for 10-15 minutes) to soften up the sealant that bonds it to the back. carefully pry the lens from the headlight. To reinstall do the reverse.

Search for painted headlights.

for an '06-'08 but explains the process.

If you are replacing a cracked/scratched lens, just replace the whole headlight.
