The biggest problem with the stock BCS is it seems to wear out and not respond properly as it gets older. Most likely due to the internals getting gummed up (my stock one failed and would give me random boost levels and fluctuate instead of holding steady boost)

aaah sound, its just i was going to fit a 3 port but the remap that has to go with it was going to cost me 500euro and i really dont think its worth that just to add it !!!?
am i right (boost is grand and holds well so no issues, just like the idea of modding some think to make it better)

I definitely wouldn't do it if its the only thing you're putting on. If you're getting a remap anyway, I would put the BCS on at the same time. It won't really make much of a difference if your current BCS is working fine. It usually just lets the tuner control boost a little better.
