You have to factor in the new changes to SAE Standard J1349...so <2006 models will have less power if you factor in the new standards...how do you do that, I have no idea.

It depends on Manufacturer. Most Japense manufacturers got hit with that - upto 10% in many cases, maybe more. However, I do not believe Subaru was effected. Most American vehicles were also not effected.

You might be interested in this websight.
http://www.stealth316.com/2-calc-hp-et-mph.htm

It has a calculator for determining ET's from the weight and Horsepower of a car. It was designed for rear wheel cars. (scrole down you'll find the calculator). According to this, a 2005 FXT has a horsepower of close to 300. Under these surcumsrances, this would mean that if you had a 3300 lb. rear drive car, you would need 300 horsepower to get it to accelerate as quick as a Forrester XT.

The formula is not a very accurate one. I ran a 13.1 In my STi plus you ahve to factor in humidity and elevation and temps. I ran a 12.9 with a intake in the same location.

they do have supercharged versions of the tundra and and runners that i am aware of, but they're nothing special.
it's funny to see a 240 mentioned in the same breath as the rx-7 and skyline.
a very few SCed v8 tundras, SCer for the tacomas, nothing fore sure for the 4.0 v6 yet tho

Whats wrong wit mentioning the RX7, skyline, and 240

RX7 boosted rotory RWD
Skyline Boosted I6 AWD or RWD
240 with the weight of it put a RB25 and youve got a rocket ship drift machine

ok enough dreamin
