My Forester is getting on a bit now (11 years old.) I'm thinking that a complete replacement of hoses and pipes would be a good move. Now I cant really afford Samco and have been looking at some replacemant kits on ebay.

Are these worth buying? Seems like a bargain to me, complete hose replacemant for under £100. Or should I get down the motor factors and buy OEM?

I got this hose kit off an ebay auction for £21, no complaints, though I had to use a hacksaw to cut the IC to throttle body hose and take a bit off the end of the y-pipe at the turbo end. Took about 20 mins all in and made a heck of a difference compared to the stock plastic y-pipe. On the face of it, they look pretty much the same as the ones you listed.

you could wait until "Japanese Fest" at Castle Coombe.

Its a good day out, and the hose kits go reasonably cheap, and at the end of the show (if you hang around long enough) they have some really good deals.

But unfortunately i am not taking my Forester as we dont have a official stand. Maybe we could arrange something for next year to have a "Subaruforester.org" show stand

This year i am on th MX5 Nutz stand with my other cars.

Just remember to specify the colour you want when the auction finishes. Think it says so somewhere in the listing.
