Hi!
I'm not sure if this is in the right place, but I figured it sounded right. I also don't know how unusual this really is, but I never even thought of this happening, so it's unusual to me.
My engine was recently disassembled to fix several things, and when it was put back together and placed back into my car, we forgot to plug in the alternator. So naturally while I was driving my battery died. The problem is, everything didn't all die at once. My speedometer was one of the first things to go. It stopped working while is was going about 65 on the highway, so it fell to the right and pointed straight down. Now that I have my alternator back in, the speedometer works fine, except that its on the wrong side of the little black peg. My question is, how on earth do I get the needle back on the right side of the peg?!
