How do your Wilwoods like the cold? As in braking power when you apply the brakes for the first time in the cold... Mine suck for about 3-4 stops but when there's heat in them they get a little better...

Sounds like the pads. What compound did you go with?

BTW, I picked up some brakes myself :disco dance:

It's their BP-10 street pads... I can imagine it being worse with the BP-20s I had on before...

What did you get?

they are different in the cold for sure....but they were very bad in a freezing rain the other day (with a lot of standing water in the road). it may have to do with the dust shield removal, but the first .5-1 second of the initial braking felt like it wasn't slowing at all...then they would grab (take care with following distances and know that you need a second to "wipe" the rotor clean). also, it's not super cold here yet. 20's and 30's, but no single digits or anything. what kind of temps are you talking about, Ken?

We had temps in the teens and singles for a few days.
