help I need a hood!

So a tree branch just took out my hood on my 07 xt. Being black I thought carbon might be cheaper than paint and body work. All I found was a hood that's specd for 03-08. I thought the sg5 and sg9 hoods weren't compatible. Ideas? :shrug:
