I wish they hadn't gotten rid of that switch as it would be nice to leave the park lights on sometimes. I'm sure they could have made the switch design more intuitive.

My tail lights will not turn off, however it's not the parking lights that is culprit ~ I tried it.

It is some configuration of fog light switch and headlights ~

Have you heard of this? Any ideas?

thanks

Are your taillights bright, like brake lights? If so, it could be a malfunctioning brake light switch. If it's just the normal level light, I don't really know ... there's no combination on the stalk that should only turn on the rear lights.

It's not brake lights ~ they come on when brake pedal is depressed.

AAA guy thinks its a wiring issue connected to my auto starter...

Off to the garage I go!

Thanks for your post, RocketDawg

I just got caught out again by this. Wife comes up to my man cave and tells me "your brake lights are on or something" im thinking crap maybe i screwed up something when wiring up backup camera to the reverse lights. It was this switch, of course.
