Working on my wife's car before winter sets in:
Questions #1, headlamp socket.
The drivers side headlight keep burning out. The plug has heat damage so I THINK the answer is replacing that electrical wire. I saw replacement headlamp sockets on Rockauto with a ceramic plug but I cannot see where to switch the wire at or if I just splice them? Is there a better solution?
Question #2, Options and Pros/Cons of swapping standard headlights for something better.
My wife needs better lighting for night driving. I don't understand the differences between HIS, LED, and all of the other options. Also, would changing lights also entail changing the wiring too?
