I purchased some generic o2 sensor and was wondering how I should install them, I know I will have to strip the old connector off. Is it a mistake to replace them with the generic ones? They were only $25 a piece from ebay.

IMO, use factory/OEM for the front A/F (Air/Fuel) O2 sensor. The rear sensor isn't that critical & is used to monitor the efficiency of the CAT. For that one, you can go cheap.

Performance and gas mileage stayed the same and CEL disappeared when I installed the eBay sensor. Same manufacturer as the official one. Everything's been fine for a year and a half since. Good enough for me!
