Not a Forester owner yet, but have owned four Subaru cars previously. Live near Boone NC in the beautiful mountains of NC where Legacy, Outback, Impreza and Foresters are plentiful. Found this site as we are looking to possibly buy a Forester shortly. Don't have a lot of Forester experience, but have been around Subaru products for fourteen years, so I know my way around the guts of these cars. Hope I can help someone on the board and will be asking for help myself.

hey i was reciently up in boone with my 09 forester for a little snow boarding in feb for the big snow storm ull had. and i just want to tell you it performed amazing i was driving on slush, plowed and unplowed roads up and down the mountains, i was staying at banner elk way at the top. i did see alot of vehicles getting stuck or spinning tires. most even had chains or studs . BUT not this guy. i hope u enjoy ur future buy. maybe i will see u driving around next season. :woohoo:
