I drove my daughters 2005 Forester Turbo the other day and commented to her how heavy the clutch pedal was to push. It definately wasn't that heavy when I last drove it, but she seems to think it has always been like that. She has had the car from new. Maybe it has happened over a long period and she hasn't noticed the change? The clutch works ok, correct free-play, no noises, hill hold still works, and no hydrolic leeks. Has anyone else experenced this problem. Any information would be greatly appreciated. We live in Brisbane Australia

Yup me too. Others have commented on this as well. Makes no sense to me. My old 79 chevy with a v8 had a lighter clutch.

My brother that has a wrx said after his clutch/presure plate was replaced it was lighter than the stock one. I'm hoping thats the case for me too. I'll need to replace mine soon.
