Hawk pads and PowerSlot slotted cryoed rotors.

Damn, it's good to be home.

Guys, at SF.com there was a big thread regarding a combination of Hawk pads and PowerSlot slotted cryoed rotors. Can somebody give me a quick tip on what size of rotors/pads do I need to buy? AFAIK they are the same size/bolt pattern as for WRX (but not WRX STI), correct?

I would appreciate a quick answer as my brakes started making that hihg pitch grinding noise, and it's getting louder every day.

It would be awesome if somebody recommended a place/website, where I could buy them for a good price. It would save me some research time.

Thanks a lot.

Alex.

yep, just fixed :)
I recently bought just pads frm ajusa.com. Make sure you get the right rears though. Their website had it wrong. Just call them instead. They also sell the powerslot rortors. Not sure if they are cryo-treated though.

Also, price shop subydude.com

The pads feel great so far. I also put on goodridge SS lines and switched over to Dot 4 fuid, the blue stuff. I will know more after this weekend. I am competing in Auto X again.
Do you get noise with the Hawk pads, compared to stock?
They're a little loud (at least for me) when cold. Once you get going, they're quiet. Most performance pads exhibit a similar behavior to some degree.

What kind of noise? A high-pitch one?
I have another question, about brake lines. Are they supposed to be for a Forester or they are interchangeable with the WRX ones?
WRX one's will fit just fine.

The fxt brake system, at least on the 04, is exactly the same as a 04 WRX.
