How about the calipers? I want the bigger LGT calipers also. Which ones should I be getting? Year?

you use the OEM forester calipers, thats what makes this mod great! the newer lgt calipers are different, thats why you use the brackets from the 2000 lgt/outback, no need to purchase new ones. believe me the lgt vented rotors and calipers perform better, but there is an added cost to those. i could have done aftermarket or brembos too, but i wanted some an improvement to the rear brakes w/out braking the bank!

So then I would need 2000 LGT/Outback calipers? Or Can i use the 2002 LGT UP calipers? Or better yet LGT Calipers w/brackets?? My stock XT calipers are rusted and dinged up!

Thanks! So 05 LGT Calipers w/brackets, 2000 up Rotors, and which brake pads??? I'm asssuming 2005 up??

you'd want forester/wrx calipers. if you are willing to buy new calipers you should do the 05+ LGT calipers so you can upgrade to vented rear rotors.

well your right they are expensive. I guess i can get new Forester calipers and just buy the brackets and all the other hardware you stated. Thanks!
