Hi all. Just thought I would check in as I just joined the site.

MY wife and I have two Foresters. A White 2000 L with an Automatic Transmission (hers) and a 2005 Garnet Red XT MT (Mine). We bought hers over the summer and other a than few initial issues it has done well. I bought the XT in December and have so far put almost 5K miels on it.

I am not planning any mods other than an additional gauge or two and a new stereo head unit at some point. She loves hers and I love mine. Typical road noise and rattles in both.

Someday I might be able to track them down and get some fixed.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

These are few rattles and fixes I have encountered

1. Rear license plate (hatch) - install two screws to the lower portion of the license plate
2. Glove box - http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4285
3. Cargo cover - wack it around and double check for secure fit
4. Dash - slip some foam in between dash and upper steering column
5. Sun visor - pull down from ceiling about a half inch

I have learned a lot between this site and a few others. I am some what of an information junky so I spend a lot of time reading up on service issues and maintenance for any vehicles that I own.

Are these rattles standard for Forries ?

I seem to see a number of people talk about this.

Anyone with a few miles (>5,000) on an MY06 that can comment ?
