Grimmspeed 3 port bcs check how to?

1092 Views 4 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  GrimmSpeed
So now I have on my car the stock bcs and that's cause I think something is wrong with GS bcs or with my installation.
how can I check it when it's in my hand and when it's install.
When I hold it and blow to one of the ports the air comes out from other port, the third port is blocked.
So where should I connect the two open ports and where to connect the blocked one.
I familiar with grimmspeed installation diagram but may be I'm missing something.
Thanks

When you have questions like this it is easiest to contact us directly FYI.

You're going to have to be a lot more specific about what you are troubleshooting. Did you just install our EBCS or has it been on the car already. Did you get a tune for it? What are the symptoms you are experiencing?

The easiest way to test the EBCS for functionality is by taking a 9 volt battery, attaching wires to it, and touching those wires to the terminals on the EBCS. If it clicks, it works. When you dont have electricity to it you should be able to blow through port two and itll go through port three, and when energized it'll go through port one.

The failure rate on these are extremely low (1 in 20000) and in my entire employment here I have legitimately only seen two go bad. Typically people are having other issues with the car that causes their boost pressure to go to wastegate pressure. What is your DAM at? Do you have any CELs?

Cant get any better than that, a response and info right from the horses mouth.
I do not have any cell.
I installed it and went for a tune and the tuner couldn't reach 1.3 bar.
I fixed all the issues that I had like bad intercooler and some leaks, but still the car isn't sharp, full boost come very late and stays little bit and than fall down,I tried to play with the initial and max wastegate duty cycle with no successes, so I changed it back to stock, and it dramatically changed, the car's response a lot better and boost come earlier, it's small turbo (stock)and it supposed to kick me in the back but it does not, so i was wondering what do I do wrong?
I took out the restrictor pill, what should be the size of the lines,3mm 4mm?

The lines should be your stock lines, and the line we supply with our kit. I would double check your installation, make sure you are connecting the right ports to the right lines via our installation guide. It sounds a lot like the car isn't tuned for the EBCS, and that is the main issue if the lines are routed to the correct ports.
