As there wasnt a section for us green forester owners, I thought I'd start one.

Here's my Green Machine!

Hi guys,

I used to be a member of the previous incarnation of the Subaruforester forum.

Thought I'd share a pic or three of my green machine. I added the rims just yesterday!

cheers

Lookin' good pete_mac! What kind of suspension are you running?

Thanks for the comments mate!

I'm running Pedders suspension (locally made Australian brand... nothing fantastic) consisting of 45mm lowered springs, and new rear struts (to replace the standard self-levelling rear struts on the Aus-spec GT's).

I find it to be a little firm, but in terms of cornering, it is a vast improvement over stock.

cheers

Nice ride, pete mac!!
Wow, I like the turbo one! Not too fond of the wing but either way there is plenty of room for an fmic!

Here is my SF, and now with the specs
1998 Subaru Forester S with Sun Roof
Generic Cold Air intake
2005 WRX struts with H&R lowering spring for a 98 Legacy GT

2005 WRX front and Rear Brakes with EBC Greenstuff Pads
1991 Legacy SS 19MM Rear Sway Bar
Catzkins Leather Tan interior
2003 WRX cd player
WRX Steering Wheel
Whiteline Bushings throughout

This is how you do the cluster

What shade of green is the light lime that I've seen. I've yet to see one here but see an XT in my neighborhood occasionally. Repaint maybe?

Sierra Gold? It looks light greenish in certain light conditions.

Yes. Sierra Gold available only on 03 models in US (correct me if I am wrong). It is light green at certain angles and you can see hint of green in the paint up close. Nice Gold sparkle too in the sun. The newer Champagne Gold color starting in 04 is nothing like the Sierra Gold and has more of a purple-violet shade. I have had many people ask what shade green is my car and they look dumbstruck when I said it's Gold.

Best way to describe it is more greenish in bright sunlight and gold in darker settings.
