My 06 Forester's CEL came on the other day so I took it to Autozone to have them read the code.

Came back as Fuel Temperature Sensor (FTS) "A" Circuit Low. After searching around the net I am not finding much on this one.

Does anyone know where this sensor is located? I assume in or around the fuel tank. The car runs fine. Just want to get this resolved so I can use my cruise control again.

Thanks.

Here are a few things that MAY help. P0182 means the ECU is seeing the sensor as SHORTED. So the sensor may be bad, or a wire going to it may be damaged and touching ground.

The sensor itself, you will see, is in the fuel tank and part of the pickup assy.
