Hi, I'm from Peace River in Northern Alberta, and this is day 3 with my new silver '10 X. It's silver, and a beauty. I pressed the dealer to throw in extra rims and a good set of studdeds.
I had an 07 Honda Fit Sport which I loved loved - handles so tight, heaps of utility, and super thrifty. But it broke my heart to take it on the gravel roads to the lake or river, and it left me short of the trailhead more than a few times because of clearance issues and spin outs on inclines. Ahh goodbye my love, it was brilliant, but you'll be better off with someone else in the city.
But hello to the utility and capability of the Forester, my new forever car!
I like the idea of the diy skidplate, rack/basket system, and eventually a few more modifications.
