Going NuTZ on changing winter tire size 225/60 to 225/55
Hi! I have a 2010 Subaru Outback and time for new tires and wanted to do Winter tires finally. I found some great same size Blizzaks but too far. However I found some great local tires. a guy is selling his Nokian Snows, used only last year with less than 2,000 miles. $250. steal of a price and one of my top three for snows.
my tires size is 225/60/17 but the Nokians are 225/55/17. Anyone see much of an issue with that? I know speed will be off a lil bit but would the look weird with being about a 1/2 smaller in height? It's only and around town car and my commutes are like 5 miles. Mechanic told me it shouldn't make too much of a difference, even if I were to go to a 65 one.
