Hey everyone, I'm brand new to this forum. I've never owned a Subaru, but I've always had a love for all of them. The WRX because it's fast and I love the idea and challenges of rallying, the Impreza because they seem really practical to have as a daily driver, and definitely the Forester because I think they're versatile and a worthwhile long term investment. The all-wheel drive system is a no brainer to me and the engineering behind the boxer engines is brilliant. I can really tell Subaru does their homework.

I'm getting closer than ever to being able to buy a Forester now that I'm graduating college in December '13. Right now I'm focusing on researching which one is right for me, what kinds of problems people have, what the maintenance is like, do I need a turbo (need? maybe... want? ABSOLUTELY) etc.

This forum seems like an excellent resource for answers to all of these kinds of questions. I'm excited to learn more about these awesome cars!

oh, come on, you're young, it's time to make emotional bad decisions, just check out the used vehicles in your area and beat the crap out of a few before you lay down hard earned real money on something important.
