I thought the FSTI exhauts had:

Downpipe (Same as newage impreza)
Cat Pipe (Same as newage impreza)
Centre Section (Same as classic imprexa)
Backbox (Forester specific)

The downpipe/cat pipe may be joined or in two sections, I am not sure.
Someone correct me if I am wrong as I am about to buy the sports cat downpipe (downpipe/cat pipe in one) !!

The FSTi retains the classic JDM exhaust line of.............

Catted Downpipe
Resonated centre pipe
Muffler

The centre pipe "may" also have a cat but its probably an expansion chamber (heat shielded) and then a resonator.

don1952, do I need a downpipe from a classic impreza ??
As Northdowns have checked that the FSTi exhaust he has for sale doesn't fit an SG then yes you need a "classic" downpipe.

The one he has for sale is for an SG, anyway its the cat back system not downpipe.

Is the downpipe in an SF and SG the same then ??

Has no one replaced the downpipe in an SG ??
