So, if we're all a bit suspicious when we see a FSTi advertised for below market value and having not looked at a Parkers/Cap guide for a few years, what then is the current about right price? I'm just wondering as they seem to loose 2K a year so £9K looks bang on.

2004 04 plate - £9000 this car
2004 54 plate - £10000http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/f110/forester-sti-54-plate-sale-63664/index2.html Shrum's car, now sold
2005 - £12000 2005 SUBARU FORESTER STI 2.5 TURBO FACELIFT MODEL
2006 - £14000 Litchfield Imports : Subaru Forester STI
2007 - £16000 Subaru : Subaru Forester STI (Litchfield) 2007 (57) now sold

+1
A car is worth what a buyer is willing to spend. £9k seems like a bargain indeed but if the buyer wants a quick sale let's not start getting suspicious unless someone sees the car.
AFAIK they all come with Xenon lights, but no ESP :icon_rolleyes:

Hmm on that basis in 5 years they will pay me £1K to take it away!

I guess the market will plateau out at some point but in this economical climate when? yes in five years time an 11 year old FSTi won't be worth -£1000 but realistically what will it be worth? £4000 less who knows.

Lets face it in 5 years time insurance will probably double, that's £1500 a year, petrol will be £10 a gallon, road tax will be £500 a year, who's going to want a FSTi then?

Thought I'd add this. 10 year old FSTi 4800Euro, which at the current exchange rate is £4250
