hi guys,
I have installed front parking sensors on my forester 2009 but for nearly 3 months since I have them I still do not know how and when exactly they work.
The sensors are original Subaru accessory SEWAFG2100.
My dealer told me they are activated when I press the brakes. Close enough but it took at least 10 seconds until it starts beeping (enough time for my wife to kiss the wall). In the accessory book it states it is speed activated which I also do not get.

So guys, if someone has installed the same sensors and has got to term with them please give me some advice how the damn thing should normally work.

I have no idea of the specifics of these, however I would say that reading

enough time for my wife to kiss the wall

made me think you need to devote some time to some proper kissing lessons!

The front ones on the Legacy Outback 2003-2009 work on when the headlight stalk is switched to position 1, have play around with this setting.
