On Friday i mashed my brand-new 2010 Subaru Forester 2.5 X Limited.
Almost 5 months to the day after trading in my 1994 Jeep Gr.Ch. Laredo for crushing via the US CARS.gov program.
So many crunch-free yrs, and now i have an accident... in my new Foz. :shake:
Current estimate is US$4600+ ...*sigh*. and "10(labor)+3(parts)" working days.
Thanks to those on the forums here, i did some research via my insurance, BBB.org, etc. i decided to get my Foz repaired at a shop chain with a nation-wide, multi-year guarantee. I'll post back with how that goes.. but so far so good. (They emailed an estimate to me today w/ photos, including these .)
FYI: if you don't have another means of transport, consider the extra few $ per payment for a rental car. lesson=hard-way:chair:
1st img. Left Driver Side quarter-panel.
2nd img. Close-up of Bumper, remains of fog-light, washer-fluid reservoir, etc.
