Perhaps that’s true now, but I remember learning about the new features on the latest generation Forester in June of 2018 (facial recognition, etal…) from my dealership, which convinced me to wait for the next (now current) generation before purchasing my Forester…

But, with all the COVID related issues going on today, who knows what it’s like now…

No turbocharged Forester really shouldn’t be any surprise to anyone whose been observing the Forester over the last few years, especially coming in the mid-life-cycle of the current model.

If there is ever to be another Forester turbo, I wouldn’t expect to see it introduced until the next model revamp, and even then, thats a big IF…

You can often tell a lot about where a manufacturer’s product direction is headed by seeing the ads they produce.

If you watch Subaru Forester commercials, it’s easy to see what market the company is going after.

Demonstrations of automatic self-engaging safety features and depictions of a family of dogs driving in urban and highway environments aren’t meant to appeal to the types of customers that want any type of performance oriented vehicles.
