I looked as hard as I could to find some specifications or at least pics to verify for this question and I wasn't sure if this was the place to post this, as opposed to the wheels section, but here we go...

2015 Forester 2.5/cvt with 4 pots on the front ( link for primitve 4 pot conversion ) and 15" Sparco Terras (15 offset) and KO2s. Well, went to go put the stock 17's back on (see att img) and getting interference with the brakes. While I know I can use spacers, don't wanna. I notice the OEMs are 17x7 (7.5?) at 48et and since the car is on a 1.6" primitive lift, pushing out further is fine since there won't be any rubbing issue, buuuuut, what can I put on instead?

Most aftermarket wheels that folks like us are going to consider will have the spacing available fro larger, not that these calipers are THAT large, but I want to be sure since I'm not even sure which specific scoobie the brakes come off of (so I could xref it for wheels fitment). In other words, wheel "A" has same offset as oem, but will fit.

By means of example, would these fit in this scenario ( link for OZ Superturismo 17" 48et ) ? Same offset, but aftermarket and one assumes more space for calipers (worth pointing out that the configurator assumes the car has stock brakes)

sooo, TLDR, can anyone suggest the proper subaru to look for wheels for, or maybe confirmation on those OZs?

Thanks everyone, any help is appreciated. Sorry if this is an egregious RP, but I just couldnt find a thread that covered this my Forester

yes, i know there are no links or att img, but the board wont let me do it on my first post, I guess as soon as i can, i will post links and a pics of the actual wheel/brake/look on my actual car.... actually

Misread...

there are a few oem wheels that clear 4 pot. The 06-07 WRX wheels clear for a fact because they care with 4 pots. Pretty much any wheel that is known to clear brembos will work too.

@The Timstergeddon 06-07 WRX were 5x100, I had an 2006 at one point. WRX went 5x114 in 2015+.

The STi went 5x114 in 05+, so 2004 BBS clear and are 5x100 but people tend to ask crack pipe prices for them still.

What are you really looking for OEM wheels that clear the 4 pot no matter the diameter? Or just any wheel that clears the FHI 4 pot.

oem works if it is a 17, the idea is to be able to use the pretty recently purchased Mich LTXs (225/60/17) currently on the stock wheels that dont fit anymore, for when the KO2s are not needed

so i dont know what I was looking at previously, but i looked up sizing for the 06 wrx again (erg, does this have the bigger calipers?) and found the part number for a given example is the same as it lists for my 15 Forester

example - https://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Whe...=Impreza+WRX+Sedan&autoYear=2006&autoModClar=

but yeah, just something to clear the fhi 4 pots, oem or after mkt

so i guess if this is the car (in the link) with the brakes in question, a reasonable person would then assume they'd fit mine. I guess one of the thing thats holding me up, is Im simply not familiar with scoobie wheel names yet, I could just ask, hey, will the 17" trumblywomps fit my forester and everyone would know

The 15 Forester has two front rotor size options. 2.5i which is front 11.6in(which is common between the 4pot and 2pot side pushers) and the larger rotor XT which is 12.4in(same as the 15+ WRX, LGT and outback). The rear is basically the same diameter, but the 2.5 is solid and the XT is vented(not drilled). The 06-07 WRX uses the 11.6 in rotor in the front and the same sized vented rotor as the 2015 XT, exept the handbrake drum is a different diameter.

There is a good chance rim you linked at tirerack will clear, but honestly call tirerack they are pretty knowledgeable about fitment especially given that was the factory brake on 06-07 WRX.
