Hi all,
I apologize if this topic was covered in the past but I'm a little frustrated with my Forester now.

I bought used 03 Forester X and my brake is so low on the first kick (almost hit the floor) but as soon as I release it and kick it again it much better (half). When I drive the car and stop again, it happening again only on every first kick.

I check both rear and front pads and everything look fine and thick. I even replaced the master cylinder but didn't help.

Anyone experience the same issue ?

Any advice greatly appreciate.
Thanks in advance!!!

You replaced the master cylinder which implies you bled the brakes. The symptoms you are describing matches air in the system.

What process did you do the bleed them? Try doing it again, then activating the ABS pump, and doing a final bleed.

If memory serves you need to bleed them diagonally not just back then front. I will check the FSM and make sure.

sequence is FR-RL-FL-RR as per the factory service manual
