good to have the win... too bad it is because the RAV4 dropped due to Toyota's overall ratings...

I am only so happy that I bought a Forester vs. a RAV, or Prius. I had evaluated those two cars and while compelling...just didn't measure up with regards to safety and overall utility.

As per Toyota - take yer' lumps. You deserve it Mr. Toyoda.

Yes and the 2010 Forester is their top pick in the small suv category with the best ride and most car-like handling.

Yeah, I agree with the above.. Why is a Toyota on there when in another part of that report they said something along the lines of, "we're not including Toyota because of the recall." Seems strange to me..

And for those who grouch about the fuel consumption, CR does not see it as an issue:

...The 2.5X provides an impressive 22 mpg overall with an automatic, 24 mpg with a manual...
A good win again for our beloved Forester!
