Hello All,

I will like to start a thread to share your forester delivery timeline.
Mine has been a shifting goalpost. Now, wait time running 2months for Forester Sports in Toronto.

I got my touring in 7 days. They had a few in stock but I wanted a blue with grey interior so they had to get it from Mississauga to Newmarket.

Bought a gray Sports from Markham Subaru today and was told they have two on order and on their way... hopefully picking one up in a month...

My first Subaru 🙂

I ordered 2 Touring models on January 9th with an anticipated delivery the last week of March. Today I received my VIN numbers, and the letter still says expect delivery the last week in March. So, on schedule.
On schedule, but I am anxious to have them.

I am glad that forester_newguy started this thread. I ordered a 2019 Forester Limited on Jan 15. Initially advised it will take 4 -6 weeks and last week was advised revised delivery date is mid March. In the meantime I am reading up on the many features that the vehicle has such as Start_Stop, etc. Someone also posted the Owner's Manual which is appreciated.

Unfortunately yes, but dont let that concern you. Other then that I hear its a really great vehicle and worth the wait.

Hi all.
I ordered a red Convenience with Eyesight from Bay Subaru but don't even have an estimate yet... If my current vehicle finally gives up the ghost I might have to switch to plan B and go for a CR-V which almost had my name on it.

You know the CR-V has a very serious oil dilution problem right? Look at the RAV4 if you can't wait for the Subaru.
That has been fixed with a software update, actually. Anyone who lives in a cold area is entitled to the fix as well as anyone who can justify it by saying they are moving to one or travelling to one. The issue really only affects people who have such short commutes that their car never fully warms up. I would argue that you could get better bang for the buck from an electric or a hybrid if that is the case.

I was supposed to pickup my Sports Forester on March 20th, but was informed by the dealer that the shipment has a two-week delay...So disappointed...
I've looked at A LOT of dealer inventory. Sport by far is the most common. Seems like you should be able to find what you want somewhere and/or your dealer could trade for it....No?
The third-party engines (i.e. Cars.com, etc.) do a decent job of looking across multiple dealers for specific trim/color - and then you can confirm (for what that's worth) on the dealer website before reaching out directly to them to see if it's there.

Sport has a lot fewer colors. If you don't want either of the 2 added packages, I'm sure that vehicle is very very rare. And of course port-installed accessories can lean toward the "rich" end for dealer inventory.

Well mine is on the way from Vancouver. I know London Subaru has four Sports in stock, but it's too far 🙂 I know New Roads Subaru in Richmond Hill just got one blue in stock as of yesterday...

I was just reading from:
2017/2018 Honda CR-V - Page 145 - RedFlagDeals.com Forums

Owners still have problems after performing the recall.

Perhaps it is fixed for some people.
