mmmm ...seems a bit of mixed opinion doesn't it ....thing is my dash has had these two bloody great big screws holes in it since i got it 8 years ago and its always really annoyed me, the Japanese fellow must have had a 32'' flat screen TV attached to the dash i reckon !! ...i tried filling them once but you just noticed that 2 big screw holes had been filled in !

A pro can fill with the right colour and lay over a 'masque' that creates the right graining effect, Autoglass had to get this done on my old Sierra after the gimp cut a chunk out of the dash while removing the screen, it really was invisible.

It can look decent, but you have to keep it clean. The fibers get a bit "matted" down and it starts to look odd. Might as well just cover with some sort of cloth if you have the whole thing out.
