I had an oil change done and the oil was found to be very flaky. Anyone else have this experience? I have a 17 FXT that had the original engine replaced at 19,000 miles with a new one from Subaru because the original one blew up (something malfunctioned and punched a hole through the engine while I was on the highway..) I'm kind of worried it might happen again as the engine shudders sometimes too and knocks on occasion when accelerating.

Probably going to grenade the new engine if all they did was replace the first one.

Not very often you just randomly have a rod blow up...something causes it like knock due to fueling problems. If they didn't address the fueling problems and you're still seeing it based on your comments on knock when accelerating, the flakes in the oil are probably a good indicator your new engine is on its way out.
