Exposed Wires Near Engine?

Recently, had my 2010 Forester serviced for headgaskets (about 1-1/2 months) ago by the dealership garage. The car has been running fine since. But I noticed under the hood, these wiring harness exposed near the engine (see pics). Is that normal? I feel they should be shielded from the engine heat? Any opinions?
