However does any one actually drive at the speed limit off season in Cornwall?

I was driving down to Penzance in last November down the A30 and was doing 90 (kmh of course) and I was passed by the crappiest Mk1 Fiesta I have ever seen who passed me like I was stood still, definately a local. as he was eating a pastie :biggrin:

Its an odd thing to try and save money on as we have very few fixed cameras to start with and only a hand full of stealth vans ....still I am all in favour !!!

I also feel absolutely sure that there has never been a speed limit on the A30 in Cornwall, or any other "out of town" roads , I believe we locals are exempt....something to do with "tinners rights"....and finally....

I feel duty bound to inform you that a pastie is not a sure sign of a local , emmets can buy them all to easily....you can only know it's a true local in Cornwall if they are overtaking you on a single track road without touching the sides or your paintwork!!!:biggrin::rock:
