Exhaust tips

Have a new (2010) Forester - my 6th subaru.
Trying to find exhaust extensions, but don't want the factory offering. Any suggestions?

I've got the Subaru tips and must admit that they are kind of boring. Perhaps they are just too short. Does anyone know if the factory tips can be repositioned so that they stick out a little more?
If the tip is just tightened down around the exhaust pipe like most exhaust tips then you can just loosen the tip and slide it closer to the end of the pipe then tighten it down again. If the tip isn't removable then you will just need to purchase a new exhaust if you want something different.
Are the factory tips supposed to be all the way in? Or can it slide a bit out?

Not sure if I'm supposed to push it all the way in.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.
I got these from Kragen auto. they were like $18.00 per pair. Had to bend the mounting clamp and really push them on hard, but it was worth it. I think they look better the the factory tips, well i see the picture didnt come out. go to my cp and click under my forester.http://i709.photobucket.com/albums/ww100/ChiefMkc/xmandexhaust001.jpg

Looking good. Mine had the exhaust tips included in the Touring edition:rock:.

Lucky you. They all should come that way. It was the first thing I added. It makes the rear end look like it's actually finished.
