Hi everyone.
I am interested in getting a Subaru with dual range transmission. I see models as late as 2018 with petrol engine manual transmissions. Are these all dual range? It sems they out of production, so wondering which EU models had dual range and how to id them. Thanks

AFAIK all N/A Subarus in Greece (and maybe middle east, Russia, Ukraine, Europe?) had dual mode. My old impreza had it. My current 2009 Forester 2.0 XS has it.
I find it convenient sometimes. E.g. when there is a steep uphill , or if you drive on slippery ice or sand, or you need more torque. IIRC also some suzuki's had it. Don't know why they are dropping it. It was a unique feature.

From what it writes In mine I think the "Lo" range is 1/1.447 of the "Hi". In 2.5 models it is 1/1.196 (or at least this is my understanding)
