Okay, my brother in law has an 04 Legacy. The right bank blew a while ago, but has since been fixed.
Ever since then the engine has been really sluggish. When I say sluggish it make my 1967 998cc mini engine feel like a V8 by comparison.
It get's to speed, but has no get up and go...almost like all the torque in the engine has gone.
The garage has run compression tests ect, however says everything is fine. It almost feels like the breaks are on while you are going (the breaks have been checked and serviced).
Just wondering if anyone has any ideas?

I would look at the timing, being 1 or 2 teeth off may not trip a code but it loses a boat load of power.

What he said. When I did mine and I got the driverside cam off by 3 teeth it was gutless to say the least.
