Hi everyone,

I was driving home today when the engine management light came on. It is just a solid light and not flickering. Are there any common causes? Also is there a place in Birmingham that can check the diagnostics? A lot of the main places are charging £50 which seems a bit steep to me!

The code list is as long as your arm so it could be anything.

In your profile you show a 2003 S Turbo

If that's a late registered MY02 SF5 S turbo then its OBD compliant so you can buy your own code reader to read codes.
An example........
Diagnostic Scanner CAN Code Reader OBD2 EOBD II MS300 on eBay (end time 10-Jun-10 14:43:37 BST)

List of codes available in this section of the manual.....
