Hello, I recently had my Timing belt, tensioner, and all pullys replaced. I noticed a louder tick that i could hear inside the car shortly after. I brought it back to the guy who installed all my components and he verified that my sparkplugs were tight and that everything was still in time which it was. Car drives perfect still no CEL no issues with accelerating. He told me I may be more prone to any sort of sound especially after a timing belt change but I think its more then the normal tick. He told me it is most likely a lifter and its not that big of a deal. Could some oil additive or a thicker oil fix this? I would still like to get it fixed is it a possibility that his is a exhaust leak or more of a valve tick? Happens when car is both cold and warm never gets quieter.
