No, clock on picture is not mine, but mine is exactly same. I just installed different LED control buttons instead of that one;

Why I asked ?

I have installed OBD controller, which has time depending functions - Trip Computer;

I worte to support and as they answered, OBD block gets time info from ECU;

So, I thinked that either ECU was depended on dash clock which I removed(shown on picture), or ECU has its own timer;

If it is not so, then OBD controler has simple build in clock which just have no User Interface to manage its values; :smile2:

(btw: this car dash clock is big enought, why so big forms and lot of connectors for digital clock ?)

@MyForic2003 the '03 clock is very simple, no connection to the ECM. Take a look at the wiring diagram below, which I marked... labelled. :wink:

As to size of the clock. My guess, it was sized to fit where it was placed in the dash. :confused:

Devices can have a simple built in timer & not require a "real time clock".
