Do you have a resistor in the EGT harness? If you have a catless uppipe you'll probably need one unless you had them turn that CEL off in the tune.

that, if you removed the EGT sensor (and you probably should) all you need to do is stick the right resistor in the plug and tape it up.

ok thanks, that makes sense. Until I get a chance to take care of that, is it ok to drive though?

The EGT values will change the AFR targets a bit. You should be perfectly fine, but you could monitor your AFR's with you AP in the mean time for peace of mind.

I'd have to double check, but I would think that with high EGT's, the ECU would respond by running more rich.
