Hi All, more problems occurred within one week after I have gotten this car. The driver's side front door gets stuck half way as i opened the door on two different occasions. This happens as I park the car and turns off the engine, but the door only opens about a few inches then gets stuck by an electrical controlled hinge or something and would not open any wider. Had to start the car again and turns it off to reset it and was able to open the door after. Is this a common problem for the Subaru? Did anyone else experience the same issue as me?

Is this a new car? If so then let the dealer fix it under warranty. If it's a used car then spray some silicone lubricant on the door hinges to ease the pressure.

Door lock operation is only for 3/4 inch of travel all the rest is mechanical ... ( no electrical controlled hinges)
